Karakeep

Karakeep (formerly Hoarder) is a self-hostable app for bookmarking everything: links, notes, images and PDFs. It fetches titles, descriptions and images for links automatically, and uses AI to tag and summarise what you save.

Karakeep has full-text and semantic search, lists you can share with others, a rule engine and OCR for images. AI tagging works with local models through Ollama. It has browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Safari, iOS and Android apps, and a CLI and agent skills for AI agents.

Karakeep is a read-later and bookmark app you own, with AI tagging that can run entirely on local models. It is AGPL-licensed.
