Kanri

Kanri is a modern, offline Kanban board app for your desktop, available for Windows, macOS and Linux. It needs no internet connection or account, and its makers have committed to never building in cloud sync.

Kanri offers a familiar board layout with customisable columns and cards, rich-text descriptions, sub-tasks, due dates and tags. You can set custom themes and board backgrounds, move around with keyboard shortcuts, import from Trello and export for backups. All data is stored in one simple JSON file on your computer.

Kanri does one thing well: personal Kanban boards that stay entirely on your machine. It is a calm, private alternative to cloud task apps, and it is GPL-licensed.
