Overview
Pangolin is an open-source networking and security platform built on WireGuard. It combines a zero-trust VPN, a zero-trust reverse proxy, privileged access management and an identity-aware AI gateway in one system, and can be self-hosted or used as a managed cloud.
What it does well
Pangolin grants access per resource rather than per network, with identity provider integration, role-based access control and full audit logs. It is light enough to self-host on a small server, with a small connector that runs inside your private networks, and a clean interface that makes managing access simple.
Why it’s in the collection
Pangolin gives small teams and homelabs the kind of secure remote access that usually needs a heavy enterprise product, with code you can inspect. The Community Edition is AGPL-licensed.
