Parlant

Parlant is an open-source framework for building customer-facing AI agents that reliably follow instructions. Instead of relying on long system prompts, you define guidelines that the agent is made to follow in conversations.

Parlant lets you write behaviour as conditions and actions, such as what to do when a customer asks about refunds, so the agent applies the right rule at the right moment. It is designed to reduce hallucinations and inconsistent answers in production, and gives developers a structured way to iterate on agent behaviour.

Parlant addresses the main reason companies hesitate to put AI agents in front of customers: unpredictable behaviour. It is Apache-licensed.
