Trilium Notes

Overview
Trilium Notes is a cross-platform, hierarchical note-taking app focused on building large personal knowledge bases. Notes live in a tree of any depth, and one note can appear in several places. It runs as a desktop app or a self-hosted server.
What it does well
Trilium has a rich WYSIWYG editor with tables, images, math and Markdown autoformatting, plus code notes with syntax highlighting. It offers full-text search, note versioning, attributes for organising and scripting, OpenID and TOTP login, sync with a self-hosted server, and publishing notes to the web.
Why it’s in the collection
Trilium suits people whose notes have outgrown a simple app: deep structure, scripting and sync you host yourself. It is AGPL-licensed.
