Apache Superset

Overview
Apache Superset is a modern, enterprise-ready business intelligence web application from the Apache Software Foundation. It lets teams explore data, build charts and create dashboards in the browser, and it can replace or work alongside proprietary BI tools. It connects to nearly any SQL database or data engine.
What it does well
Superset has a no-code chart builder, a web-based SQL editor for advanced queries, and a lightweight semantic layer for defining custom dimensions and metrics. It offers a wide range of visualizations, from bar charts to geospatial maps, plus a configurable caching layer, extensible security roles and authentication, and an API. Its cloud-native architecture is designed to scale.
Why it’s in the collection
Superset is one of the most capable open-source BI platforms, used by large organizations to put dashboards in front of everyone. It is Apache-licensed and governed by the Apache Software Foundation.
