Overview
Redash is an open-source tool that helps anyone, technical or not, make sense of their data. SQL users explore, query, visualize and share data from any data source, and everyone else uses the dashboards and reports they build. Everything runs in the browser with shareable URLs.
What it does well
Redash has a query editor with a schema browser and autocomplete for SQL and NoSQL, drag-and-drop visualizations, and dashboards that combine them. Charts and dashboards refresh on a schedule, alerts fire when data changes, and queries can be shared for peer review. It supports more than 35 data sources out of the box, and everything in the interface is also available through a REST API.
Why it’s in the collection
Redash is a simple, dependable way for teams who know SQL to turn queries into shared dashboards. It is BSD-licensed.
