Overview
c15t is an open-source consent management platform for JavaScript, React and Next.js apps. It provides cookie banners, consent dialogs and preference centres, and keeps consent management inside your own code instead of a third-party script.
What it does well
c15t offers prebuilt UI components or headless APIs for a fully custom experience. It loads analytics, ad pixels, tag managers and chat widgets only when the right consent is given, supports Google Consent Mode v2 and IAB TCF, and can run with a hosted backend, a self-hosted backend or offline mode.
Why it’s in the collection
c15t lets developers handle consent properly without slowing their site down or handing control to a heavy third-party tool. It is used by sites like expo.dev and zed.dev, and is Apache-licensed.
