Dyad

Dyad is a local, open-source AI app builder: you describe an app and it builds a full-stack web app for you, like Lovable, v0 or Bolt, but running on your own machine. It is available for Mac and Windows, with no sign-up required.

Dyad works with your own AI API keys and any model you choose, so there's no vendor lock-in, and the code it writes stays on your computer. It runs as a desktop app and has an active community sharing projects.

Dyad gives you the prompt-to-app experience without paying a monthly fee for a hosted builder or handing your code to one. The app is Apache-licensed, apart from a separate source-available folder for its Pro features.
