Overview
Skyvern automates browser-based workflows using LLMs and computer vision. Instead of brittle scripts that break when a page changes, it looks at websites the way a person does and works out what to click and type. It offers a Playwright-compatible SDK and a no-code workflow builder, and runs locally or in the hosted Skyvern Cloud.
What it does well
Skyvern uses a swarm of agents to understand a website, plan and carry out actions. It can work on websites it has never seen, keeps working when layouts change, and can apply one workflow across many different websites. Typical uses are logging into portals, downloading invoices, copying data and filling in forms. It runs locally with SQLite by default, or with Postgres and Docker.
Why it’s in the collection
Skyvern makes it practical to automate the many web portals that have no API, without maintaining fragile scrapers. It is AGPL-licensed.
