Overview
Umami is open-source web and product analytics that works without cookies. It brings acquisition, behaviour, conversion and retention into one dashboard, and you can self-host it with Node.js and PostgreSQL or use the hosted version.
What it does well
Umami attributes traffic to channels, referrers and campaigns, shows pageviews, visitors, bounce rate and visit time on one dashboard, and filters by country or device. It also tracks what visitors do after landing, finds the steps in a funnel where people drop off, and shows who comes back.
Why it’s in the collection
Umami is one of the simplest analytics tools to self-host, and it now covers product analytics as well as traffic. It is MIT-licensed.
