Overview
Agenvas is an open-source, self-hosted AI creative canvas where text, images, video, audio and agents share one infinite workspace. It aims to bring the creative-canvas experience to individuals at a lower cost, using the model providers you choose rather than an expensive subscription. It is an early version for single-admin self-hosting, and its makers note that future data compatibility isn't guaranteed.
What it does well
Agenvas lets you arrange, group and connect cards on a canvas, and run text, image, video and audio generation with queues, regeneration and version history. A built-in director chat works with the current canvas, and 14 creative tools are exposed to external clients over MCP. It keeps reusable assets, prompt templates and visual styles, supports consistent characters across shots, and connects to OpenAI-compatible providers, ComfyUI or RunningHub. It runs with Docker Compose.
Why it’s in the collection
Agenvas offers a self-hosted alternative to paid AI creative suites, where you pay only for the models you actually use. It is MIT-licensed and still early, so expect changes.
