Beekeeper Studio

Overview
Beekeeper Studio is a cross-platform SQL editor and database manager for Linux, Mac and Windows. The free Community edition needs no sign-up, and premium features are unlocked in the same app with a paid license.
What it does well
Beekeeper Studio has an autocompleting SQL editor with syntax highlighting and a tabbed interface for working on several queries at once. The free edition fully supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, CockroachDB, MariaDB, TiDB, BigQuery and Redis; paid editions add Oracle, Cassandra, ClickHouse, DuckDB, MongoDB, Snowflake and more.
Why it’s in the collection
Beekeeper Studio is a database client people actually enjoy using: fast, clean and easy to learn. The core is GPLv3, and its paid features are kept clearly separate, explained below.
License
Most of Beekeeper Studio is licensed under GPLv3. Paid features live in src-commercial folders in the same repository under a commercial, source-available license: you can read and contribute to that code, but not use it in your own projects or in production without a paid license.
