Overview
drawDB is an open-source database schema editor that runs in your browser. You build entity relationship diagrams with a few clicks, then export them as SQL, or import existing SQL scripts to draw the diagram for you. It works without an account, and you can self-host it with Docker.
What it does well
drawDB supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MariaDB, SQL Server and Oracle. It imports and exports SQL scripts, generates migrations and lets you customize the editor. Sharing diagrams is optional and runs through a separate server you can host yourself.
Why it’s in the collection
drawDB makes database design visual and quick, with no install and no sign-up, and you can run your own copy. It is AGPL-licensed.
