Overview
Linkwarden is a self-hosted, open-source bookmark manager for collecting, reading, annotating and fully preserving the web pages that matter to you. Because pages often disappear over time, it saves a copy of each one, blending a read-it-later tool with a personal web archive. You can self-host it or use Linkwarden Cloud.
What it does well
Linkwarden automatically captures a screenshot, PDF and single-file HTML copy of each page, and can optionally send it to the Wayback Machine. It has a reader view with highlights and annotations, optional local AI tagging, and organization by collections, sub-collections and tags. Collections can be shared with other people with per-member permissions, or published to the world, and there are apps for iOS and Android.
Why it’s in the collection
Linkwarden protects you from link rot: the pages you save stay readable even after the original disappears. It is AGPL-licensed.
