Overview
Refine Core is an open-source React meta-framework for CRUD-heavy web applications such as internal tools, admin panels, dashboards and B2B apps. It sits between low-code tools and starting from scratch: you get ready-made building blocks but keep full control of the code. The same framework powers Refine's hosted AI agent for generating apps.
What it does well
Refine's hooks and components cover authentication, access control, routing, networking, state management and internationalization (i18n). Its headless design separates business logic from the UI, so it works with any design system, with built-in support for Ant Design, Material UI, Chakra UI and Mantine, and on Next.js, Remix, React Native and Electron. A single command creates a new project.
Why it’s in the collection
Refine lets developers build internal tools as fast as with a low-code platform, while ending up with ordinary React code they own. It is MIT-licensed.
