Overview
Hyperswitch is an open-source, composable payments platform from Juspay. Instead of tying a business to a single payment provider, it sits between your checkout and the many processors you might use, so you can add, switch and combine providers while keeping control of your payments stack. You can self-host it, deploy it to the cloud, or try a hosted sandbox.
What it does well
Hyperswitch is built from independent modules you can adopt one at a time. Intelligent routing sends each transaction to the provider most likely to approve it, across Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, Worldpay, Checkout.com and more than 120 others. Revenue recovery retries failed payments to reduce churn, a PCI-compliant vault stores cards and other payment methods, and cost observability dashboards uncover hidden fees and penalties.
Why it’s in the collection
Hyperswitch gives growing businesses the payment orchestration that used to be built only in-house by the largest companies, without locking them into one provider. It is Apache-licensed and written in Rust.
