Overview
Upscayl is an open-source desktop app that enlarges and enhances low-resolution images using AI. It runs on Linux, macOS and Windows.
What it does well
Upscayl uses Real-ESRGAN models and Vulkan to upscale images on your own computer, so photos never leave your machine. You can add more models from its custom-models collection or convert your own, and its website has documentation and tutorials.
