AnythingLLM

AnythingLLM is an all-in-one AI application for chatting with your documents and running AI agents, with local or cloud models. It is available as a desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux, as a Docker deployment for teams, and as an Android app.

AnythingLLM lets you connect a local or cloud model, add documents such as PDFs and Word files, and chat with them with source citations. It includes built-in agents that can browse the web, a no-code agent builder, MCP support, scheduled tasks, memories, multi-user permissions in the Docker version, an embeddable chat widget and a developer API.

AnythingLLM is one of the simplest ways to get a private ChatGPT-style assistant for your own documents, with no account required and models running locally by default. It is MIT-licensed and works for one person or a whole team.
