Overview
Cherry Studio is an open-source desktop client for working with AI models from many providers, available on Windows, macOS and Linux, with a mobile app as well. It brings chat, agents, image generation and a knowledge base into one app.
What it does well
Cherry Studio supports major cloud providers such as OpenAI, Gemini and Anthropic, and local models through Ollama and LM Studio. It includes more than 300 preconfigured assistants, custom assistants, conversations with several models at once, document support for PDFs and Office files, WebDAV backup, translation, global search and MCP servers, and needs no environment setup.
