Overview
Immich is a high-performance, self-hosted solution for managing photos and videos. You run the server yourself and back up your library from the iOS and Android apps, then browse and share it in the mobile apps or on the web. A public demo is available.
What it does well
Immich backs up automatically in the background, avoids duplicates and supports raw formats and Live/Motion Photos. It searches by metadata, objects, faces and CLIP, with facial recognition, a global map, "x years ago" memories, shared and partner albums, and public sharing. It supports multiple users and OAuth login.
Why it’s in the collection
Immich is the most complete self-hosted replacement for Google Photos, with mobile backup and smart search that feel familiar. It is AGPL-licensed and very actively developed.
