Overview
Morphic is an AI-powered search engine that gives grounded, cited answers. Its generative UI renders answers with rich inline components such as images, grids and headings, not just plain text. You can try it online or self-host it with Docker.
What it does well
Morphic has Quick and Adaptive search modes, a model selector for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Ollama and other OpenAI-compatible providers, and search through Tavily, SearXNG, Brave or Exa. It keeps chat history in PostgreSQL, shares results by URL, supports file uploads, user accounts and a guest mode.
